Spectrum of Solutions, formerly known as MARC, was chartered in 1959 as a school for children with disabilities. Since then, it has grown into an organization respected for its advocacy and delivery of a wide range of programs for individuals with intellectual, developmental and cognitive disabilities. EMW Digital assisted with the full rebranding of MARC to Spectrum of Solutions, a decision made to better exemplify the number of ways the organization is involved in the IDD community.

An Empowering Brand for An Inspiring Organization

Founded in 1959 as MARC, the organization has grown with the Midland community – adding resources, programs, and advocacy initiatives to empower individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. After 60 years, the organization found they had simply outgrown their name – it was time for their brand to better represent the array of resources they provide. By combining and fine-tuning assets the organization was already utilizing in various programs, MARC became Spectrum of Solutions.

A rebrand can be intimidating, especially when an organization has decades of relationships within a community. EMW Digital crafted a compelling long-form video to be shared on social media explaining the “WHY” behind the rebrand, while retaining mentions of MARC on their new custom website.

Building on Branding Success

EMW Digital didn’t stop at the rebranding campaign – Spectrum of Solutions is now a longstanding client utilizing several marketing services we offer. As an organization dependent on fundraising, event collateral is extremely important to promote attendance and donations. Our graphic design team develops all event material, while our social and web team ensure potential attendees are aware and can easily purchase tickets or make donations.
